Today's a busy day at The Terra Cotta Inn. We are completely full and it is a Wednesday. The guests are all happy as the weather is in the mid 80's and nice and sunny.
We have guests here from Canada, England, Virginia, Georgia, Washington, Oregon, Michigan, Idaho, Arizona, and Florida. We are a 17 room inn and only 2 of the rooms are occupied by people from the state of California and both are from central California, not southern California
It always amazes me, that the whole world knows that Palm Springs is a great vacation destination, yet it is so hard to get people from California to book in their own backyard. The guests from Florida stay with us each year for 2 weeks because they don't want rain on their vacation, yet most Southern Californians only want to come out on just Saturday nights.
I was looking at a blog, click here and the author writes: "I have lived in San Diego most of my life and never made it out to Palm Springs until last year."
Mary Clare (who was born in Tampa, FL) and I first vacationed in Palm Springs in the late 1970's and we always vacationed 2 or 3 times a year in our beautiful city before we moved here. Palm Spring sis the sunniest nudist destination in the world. Why would anyone want to go anywhere else for a clothing optional experience?
